After my grandmother, Akiko Sarukura, married my grandfather and moved to the United States, she lost contact with her family in Japan. The only things I know about them I have learned from stories here and there, old documents, and very few photos.

On this site, I will share everything I know about my grandmother’s family in hopes that one day, someone who knows more about the Sarukura family or can help me learn more about them will contact me.

Find out more about the Sarukura family via the Sarukura Family Tree, and see the only photo of the Sarukura family I have.
